Inspiring, Elegant, Beautiful

A dear friend once said to a group of us gathered together - ”Be faithful to God and He will be faithful to us”….. and “God can never be outdone in generosity”. If the Lord has so much to give us then I must try & give something to Him & for Him, no matter how small it may seem.

Even now as I write this, I know that there is more to come from the Lord. Spending time with the Lord is the key to knowing what to do.

I know that Precious Treasures will be a sharing of the word of God, a place where words of wisdom can be spoken, and a place where I can also showcase the creative gift given to me. I’m sure there will be more to add here in future. So stay tuned for what is still to come for Precious Treasures.

Ciao for now!

God Bless

It’s amazing how this tag line came about. When playing around with ideas & enlisting the help of co-members at the Business Mums Network during a brainstorming session, these were the words that felt just right to use. They came to me originally referring to the exclusive range of decorative items from EP Designs. This tag line would suit so wonderfully to what Precious Treasures was meant to be.

“Inspiring, Elegant, Beautiful” not only describes the exclusive decorative art works produced by me, Elena Perrotta (EP Designs), but also the words of  love, hope & encouragement which comes directly from the World of God, and written on each exclusive piece.  This work will be exclusive because of His eternal Word and a revelation of the creative gift He has given to me. There will be a special ‘something’ about each work – an inspiring message, an elegance in design and a beautiful reminder of God’s gifts to treasure.

God Bless

When the name Precious Treasures came about it was a perfect name to use to describe my more exclusive works.

Whoever had bought my work in the past would be so happy to own it. I think that with each piece being a one-of-a-kind work, it made owning the work even more appealing. My work (of EP Designs) developed in such a way that after years of creating decorative pieces, there was a huge mix of products. I eventually decided to separate my work & have an  ‘exclusive’ range. My more exclusive works now needed to be showcased as the classy and elegant decorative artworks they were becoming. And so, Precious Treasures was to be born …… but was this what the Lord had intended?

I went ahead with preparations for Precious Treasures (as I thought it was to be) However, there were many hold-ups along the way, which at first seemed a little annoying, but somehow deep inside I knew there was something more to learn about Precious Treasures. The Lord would give me ‘little snippets’ to add to my collection of information regarding this business ……… but was this going to be ‘my business’ or was it going to be the Lord’s ‘business’?

It came about that Precious Treasures will definitely play a part in the Lord’s ‘business’. It’s still an ongoing development but every ‘snippet’ of information He gives me brings me to a closer understanding of how everything will be. My creative work will still be very much a part of His plan for Precious Treasures, but all will be centred around sharing God’s Word….. and anything else He has in His plan.

Precious is His word for us to Treasure in our hearts.

God Bless

I was sent a card titled “Express Prayer Mail”. It contained a few words of prayer for encouragement & blessings, and a scripture ………

“Even though the fig trees have no fruit

and no grapes grow on the vines,

even though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no grain,

even though the sheep all die and the cattle stalls are empty,

I will still be joyful and glad,

because the Lord gives me strength.

He makes me sure-footed as a deer and keeps me safe on the mountains”

                                                                                                  Habakkuk 3: 17-19 GN

This is one of those scriptures that I find encouraging … and a reminder that in times of trial to keep your eyes fixed on the Lord.  It is with trust in the Lord & His help that we can overcome huge obstacles (& even small ones) in our lives. It can be easy to forget this sometimes and gentle reminders from a friend or sister or someone are just what we need to help us along – to encourage us so we feel strengthened to be able to ‘soldier’ on.

God bless

Elena

I’ll commence with my first post by wishing all a very Happy New Year filled with many blessings & joy. I hope to share with you all my hopes & dreams for my Precious Treasures  web site. It has been an ongoing development for some time now. The Lord has been leading me one small step at a time & I believe He will continue to do so until all is ready to begin the work for this Christian themed site. Over the days & months to come I hope to share with you some of these ideas & thoughts, and also words of encouragement taken from His Word.

This work will take some time as I also learn more about the blogging world & managing web sites. I have another web site which is currently undergoing an upgrade & will be re-launched soon. In the meantime have a browse through EP Designs  I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Ciao for now!

God Bless,

Elena
