FOR TODAY… Monday 28th Sept.

Outside my window…… I’m writing this at the end of the day so it’s night & the blinds are down.

I am thinking……. How I miss my son who is on holidays – they grow up so fast.

I am praying for…… my family; guidance & discernment for my son for his vocation.

I am thankful for…… my family.

From the learning rooms…… Praise the Lord in all circumstances, even if you don’t feel like it.

From the kitchen…… mushroom risotto & lamb chops.

I am wearing…… navy track pants, red top, and slippers.

I am creating…… a new blog template for my EP Designs blog.

I am going…… to bed soon – I hope.

I am hoping…… I can start my creative work again soon.

I am hearing…… Father Corapi on EWTN.

Around the house…… lots of tidying up to do – not much has been done because I’ve been not well for almost 3 weeks. I’m better now, but all that cleaning awaits me..

One of my favourite things……  strolling along the beach on a lazy afternoon.

A few plans for the rest of the week:…. Catch up on cleaning around the house, planning ideas for my son’s 18th birthday.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing…

I love vintage pictures. They’re full of character, lovely, warm, happy & colourful.

  1. I have enjoyed reading through some of your posts such as the Children quotes and Mother Teresa quotes. This week’s and last thoughts from your simple woman’s day book.
Happy to hear you are feeling better and look forward to your newly decorated page. I have thought about changing my for the winter months but not sure.
Thanks for your visit earlier this week. I have been away from the computer for several days trying to do some things around the house.
    Happy Monday Blessings 😉

  2. I love the pictures . . . will be keeping your son in my prayers. Have a blessed Monday

  3. I’m glad you are feeling better. Your pictures are beautiful. Have a great day, Doylene

  4. Oh, walks on the beach . . .I love them too. Irronically, that ties into our time in the classroom as DS was working on marine biomes today. Maybe its time for a field trip.

  5. Field trips are great and fabulous as a learning tool. It also ‘refreshes’ everyone I think.

  6. Thank you once again for the beautiful graphics that you share.
I’m happy to read that you’re feeling better – don’t stress about the housework – take the time to become really well.
