Outside my window

… the winter sun is out – it’s a gorgeous day. It’s still a little windy but at least the gales have long stopped.

I am thinking

… about how we’re mid way through August – Christmas will be upon us at the blink of an eye.

I am thankful for

… the gift of a brand new day.

From the learning rooms

… you need to take time out and not be on the go 24/7

From the kitchen

… there is caramel mud cake in the fridge that I’m trying to forget about – doesn’t look like it’s working though, lol.

I am wearing

… black track pants & burgundy long sleeve top.

I am creating
… a new log book to plan my online activities….. Sounds serious doesn’t it – wonder if I’ll stick to it?

I am praying for
… our priests.

I am going

… nowhere

  I am hoping

… we can afford to take a holiday by the beach this summer.

I am hearing

… nothing – I’m ‘home alone’ today and that cake in the fridge is beckoning…

Around the house

… the usual cleaning which I’ve been putting off so far today.

One of my favourite things

… a good laugh with friends.
A few plans for the rest of the week:

… heading out to the country tomorrow for the day; continue my excercising; tidy up my desk; visit an aunt of mine.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing

These photos were taken a few years ago – my niece Alyssa and a huge apple from our apple tree.

  1. Hi, Elena,
That Caramel Mud Cake sure sounds good! And the pictures are the cutest! Have a great day! 🙂 Karen

  2. Love the picture thought! What a blessing to have such huge apples. Looks as big as she is! Christmas? Time seems to go quicker the older I get! 🙂
